For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ…But now indeed there are many members, yet one body…” 1 Corinthians 12:12 & 24b
As Christian teachers, we get to live out 1 Corinthians 12 each day with our students. We may have students who are Christians or we might have some who are still deciding if they want to follow Christ. Either way, we have the privilege of modeling Christ-centered collaboration inside and outside of school.
These 3 strategies are low-prep and high-yield. By low-prep, I mean it requires taking either curriculum provided resources, creating a few questions, or using high quality sources for reading. The high-yield part comes in once the students are put to work. Their brains are the ones thinking and going through the collaboration strategies. Remember, for it to be truly high-yield, the students have to be the ones talking because the one talking does the learning.
